TRAINING

GACD Implementation Sciences Research School

Date & time: From the 14th of September until the 4th of October, 2023. Online Sessions.

Since 2018, the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) has organised an annual Implementation Science School as part of its dedication to enhancing capacity within the field. The GACD Implementation Science School offers an intensive program designed for early-career researchers, featuring guidance from some of the field's most prominent global experts.

This program incorporates a diverse range of learning approaches, including lectures, small group sessions, facilitated group work, and panel discussions. Through these methods, trainees acquire essential skills such as studying and effectively implementing research findings into policy and practice, selecting and applying appropriate theories, models, and frameworks, and establishing a professional network for potential future collaborations.

Natalia Villamizar, Co-lead for WP1 and WP4, and María José Arbeláez, OWS Project Manager and Communications Lead, are part of this year’s cohort.
